Magazine Corrections / Omissions

Please see the following corrections/omissions that were discovered after publication.

 

Summer 2013

  1. Project: I Pledge Allegiance
    Materials List Addition: Frame with 6" x 6" opening

 

Spring 2013:

  1. Cheryl Wall (cover project) “Welcome Home”
    The cutting instructions for the applique backgrounds were missing from our instructions:
    For each of the 4 rows…
    Cut 2 blocks 8 ½” x 12 ½” (total 8)
    Cut 1 block 4 ½” x 12 ½” (total 4)
  2. Pg 24 CORRECTION TO HEARTS & VINES TABLE MAT:
    The 9" x 12" tan tweed felted wool rectangle listed in the Materials List should NOT be in this list. Instead, it should be in the Cutting Instructions.
  3. Pg 96 Correction to Yellow Creek Quilt Designs "Stars in the Garden":
    The cost of the kit for the 3/8" hexagon size is $25.50.

 

Winter 2012:

    The pumpkin on the template page needs to be enlarged by 200%

    Cutting Instructions From purple print, cut:
    Cut (2) 8–7/8” x 8–7/8” squares

  4. Pumpkin Square by Rhonda McCray Corrections
    First in the cutting of the "center block" you need a total of 8 (not 10) 2-3/8" squares from the assorted green prints (which will then be cut in half diagonally which is part of the pattern already). You also will need two 2-3/8" black squares "(A)" cut in half diagonally to finish the center section In squaring up the pieces: the flying geese of the center unit should square up to 1-5/8" x 2-3/4", the center unit itself should be squared up to 10". Pumpkin A should square up to 4-1/2" x 4-1/2". Pumpkin B should square up to 4" x 4-1/2". Pumpkin C should square up to 4" x 4-1/2" Pumpkin D should square up to 3" x 4-1/2". (Finished measurements were given instead of squared-up measurements) In the cutting instructions you are cutting "rectangles" and in the piecing instructions those same pieces are mistakenly referred to as "squares".
